The increase in productivity can be achieved by reducing the production waste, ie by reducing the number of defective units, restoring the original process and thus increasing the conforming units produced in the unit of time or changing the technology but always after having eventually restored the current system. This second solution (new technology) is generally much more expensive than the first (restoration).
